According to Independent, TikTok has stated that it will fight against ongoing efforts to ban the app in the US.

“THE RIGHTS OF 170 MILLION AMERICANS ARE BEING VIOLATED”

Michael Beckerman, TikTok’s head of public policy, reportedly told staff in a memo that the legislation is a clear violation of the rights of 170 million American users of TikTok.

Beckerman also mentioned to employees that if the bill becomes law, the company will go to court for a legal challenge.

Michael said, “We will continue to fight. This is not the end of a long process, but the beginning.”
