A collection of eight luxury and personalized watches owned by Formula One legend Michael Schumacher is set to be auctioned, with expectations of fetching over $4.8 million in total. These rare timepieces will be on display in New York from May 3 to May 5 before the auction takes place in Geneva, Switzerland, on May 13, as announced by Christie’s auction house. Schumacher’s family has decided to part with select pieces from his collection, believing that watch enthusiasts would truly appreciate their value. Christie’s head of watches, Remi Guillemin, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with the family on this venture.
